Shemford Furturistic School

It’s a bit of a different setting than a city school because we have all that open space and the hills around us. Even though the name sounds a bit modern, we are just a regular school with local teachers and kids from the area. The air is usually a bit fresher up here in Kangra. We spend a lot of time outside or looking out the windows. The building is fairly new but it’s already starting to feel like home for us. Every morning the buses bring the kids in and the place goes from silent to very loud in about ten minutes. We have the usual school stuff like desks, some computers, and a lot of charts on the walls. It isn't a high-pressure environment; we just take things as they come. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get to school, but we usually manage. The staff here really knows the families in Dhawala. It’s a tight-knit kind of place. We don't really bother with big speeches or anything like that. We just focus on the lessons and making sure everyone is safe and learning something. It’s a quiet life most of the time, and we like it that way. It is just a school doing its part in the Kangra district.
