Zawar Mata Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are a group of farmers here at Zawar Mata Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our main setup is right at Shankar Lal Meena’s house, who is Roopa Meena’s son, over in Tidi. It is just a local thing we started because we wanted to handle our crops better. Most days you will find someone hanging around the office space there, talking about the weather or the price of seeds. We are not some big city office with fancy chairs or polished floors. We work the land ourselves and then come together to figure out how to sell what we grow as a group. Being in Tidi means we know the soil here really well. It is a bit dusty and the work is hard, but that is how it goes for us. People in the village know where to find us if they need to talk about farming or seeds. We don’t have a lot of paperwork or big meetings, just regular people trying to get by. Shankar Lal’s place is easy to spot once you get into the area. We focus on what grows best in this part of the country. It is mostly about getting the seeds and the fertilizer right and then hoping for enough rain. Sometimes the harvest is good and sometimes it is not, but we stay at it anyway. That is pretty much who we are, just a bunch of neighbors in Tidi working under the Zawar Mata name to keep things moving.
