Rupan Mahila Agro Producer Company Limited

We are based in Bagol village, near Nathdwara. We work out of Mitha Lal Khatik’s place in Amjed Nagar. This is a women’s agro producer group. Most of us live right here in the village or just a short walk away. We started this because we wanted to have more control over how our crops are sold. We meet up every few days to discuss the work. It’s not a formal office with a lobby. It’s more of a community space. We sit together and sort through things, whether it's paperwork or the actual produce. The kids usually play outside while we work. It’s a busy life, balancing the home and the company. We don’t use big words or have fancy brochures. We just talk to each other and decide what needs to happen next. Nathdwara is nearby, so we often have to travel back and forth for supplies. The road is okay but gets muddy in the rain. We handle all kinds of local agricultural products. Sometimes we have to work late under a single light bulb to get the accounts right. We aren’t experts in business, but we know our land and our crops better than anyone. It’s about sticking together and making things work for the village. We just do our best every day. There is usually someone around if you stop by in the morning, usually with a pot of tea ready for the visitors.
