Jeevantika Agri-Producer Company Limited

Jeevantika Agri-Producer Company Limited is based out of Jalema village in the Simna Chara area. We operate from Suman Jamatia’s house in Udaipur, which is part of the Gomti district. This part of South Tripura is where we all live and work. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits. We are just local farmers who decided to pool our efforts. The office is really just a meeting point where we figure out the logistics for our produce. Farming in Jalema can be tough, but having a group makes it a bit more manageable. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather and how the crops are looking in the different patches. It isn't always smooth sailing. There are days when things don't go as planned, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don’t use much of that corporate language because it doesn't fit who we are. We are practical people who know the value of a hard day's work. Most of the time, you'll find us out in the fields rather than sitting behind a desk. We just want to make sure the farming life stays viable for the people around here. It’s about the community and the land we’ve always known.
