Tulsi Communications

Tulsi Communications is located on the Malla Talai Sajjangarh Main Road, which is usually busy with people heading up to the palace. Our shop is a small spot on the side of the road where we help people with their phones and staying connected. It’s the kind of place where you can find a bit of everything, from recharge vouchers to small cables and maybe a few phone covers. We spend a lot of time talking to travelers who are lost or locals who just need a bit of help with their devices. The road outside is always full of motorcycles and the occasional tourist bus, so there is never a quiet moment. We have a small glass counter and some shelves that are packed with all sorts of bits and pieces. It isn't a high-end electronics store, just a neighborhood shop where people feel comfortable walking in. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, and we just wait it out with the customers, chatting about whatever is happening in the news. We like being on this road because we get to see so much of what is going on in Udaipur. It’s a simple life, looking at screens and talking to people all day, but it keeps us busy and we get to help our neighbors stay in touch with their families. The view of the hill is nice when the sun starts to go down.
