Karishma Telecommunication

Down here at Bapu Bazar, 48/217, things never really slow down. This part of the market is always packed with people looking for deals. Karishma Telecommunication is tucked in among all the other shops. We’ve got shelves full of mobile batteries and cases that have been there for a bit. Usually, I'm the one sitting behind the counter while my brother handles the repairs in the back. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. We handle a lot of different things, from simple top-ups to fixing cracked screens that people drop. The noise from the street is constant, so you have to speak up a bit when talking to customers. Bapu Bazar has a specific energy to it. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour and we just sit outside on the steps and chat with the neighbors. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here at number 48/217. It’s a lot of work keeping track of the inventory. I feel like I spend half my day just unpacking boxes and checking what came in. The floor is old tile and it’s seen better days, but it holds up under the constant foot traffic. We just try to get the jobs done so people can get back to their day. It’s a simple life running a phone shop in this part of town. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if someone is coming from far away to pick up their device. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to break the silence during lunch hours.
