Bharti Sales

Bharti Sales is located near the Rang Niwas Lake Palace area. Being in such a famous part of town means there are always tourists walking by, but we mostly focus on the locals who live nearby. We sell a variety of items, things like small appliances or everyday hardware that people need for their houses. The shop is small and the shelves are quite crowded with boxes. Sometimes it takes a minute to find the exact part or item someone is asking for. We spend the day answering questions and showing people how things work. It is a lot of standing around and waiting for customers, then suddenly three people walk in at once. The street outside can get very noisy with all the rickshaws and tourists, but inside we just try to keep things organized. We handle the deliveries when the new stock arrives, which means carrying boxes from the road into the shop. It is a basic business. We don't have a website or any of those modern things; people just know us from being in the neighborhood. We sit on our stools, drink some tea, and wait for the next person to come through the door. The fan makes a clicking sound that we have just gotten used to over the years. It is just a regular way to spend the day, selling things and talking to the people who stop by. We are not a big showroom, just a simple sales shop.
