The Decent

We call the shop The Decent, and you can find us at number 8 in Kamala Nagar, which is part of the Surajpole area. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main road. We’ve been here for a bit now. The shop is just a regular room with our stuff laid out. We don’t have any big mission or anything like that. We just sell what we have and hope people like it. The name was something we just picked one day. It seemed okay. Inside, it’s mostly just me and sometimes a helper. We spend the morning cleaning the glass and arranging the items. It’s not a high-end boutique. It’s just a shop for everyday people. We have a fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps us cool. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions since we are near the corner. We don’t mind helping out. It’s a friendly neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign, just a small one over the door. The inventory changes when we can get new things in. We don’t use computers for everything, mostly just a notebook for the sales. It keeps things simple for us. That’s how we like it. We aren't looking to expand or anything. We just like having this little spot in Kamala Nagar to call ours.
