St Gregorios College

We’ve been here in New Bhupalpura for quite a while now. It’s a busy part of Udaipur, especially in the mornings when the sun starts getting bright over Kharakuam. People around here know the college well. It’s just a regular place where we try to get things done every day. The classrooms are usually full of students from different parts of the city and some from further out too. We don't really do anything fancy here. It’s mostly about the lectures and making sure everyone has their notes. Sometimes the office gets a bit chaotic during admissions, with papers everywhere and the phones ringing a lot. That’s just how it is. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade when it gets really hot in the summer. You’ll see staff members sitting out there during lunch sometimes, just catching their breath. The building has seen many years, so there’s always something that needs fixing or a wall that could use a new coat of paint. We just keep moving along. Most of us have worked here for years and know the routine by heart. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just a local college where we know the students' names and try to help them finish their degrees so they can go out and find some work. If you walk past, you’ll hear the hum of the fans and the sound of teachers talking. It’s a simple life here.
