Shishu Ranjan Academy

Shishu Ranjan Academy is tucked away at House No-80 in the Sanjay Gandhi area, right near the Shiv Mandir in Hiran Magri. Being located in a residential part of Udaipur makes it feel much more like a home than a big institution. We have been here for years, and most people in the Hiran Magri neighborhood know exactly where we are because of the temple nearby. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when the school starts or ends for the day. Our school is basically a large house that we use for teaching. It’s not a huge campus, but we have enough space for the kids to learn and play. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We know all the families around here, and often we end up teaching several children from the same household as they grow up. We don't use any fancy educational jargon. We just teach the subjects, help with homework, and make sure everyone is safe. If a pipe leaks or a light goes out, we just call the local repairman we’ve known forever. It’s a very local, family-oriented way of running things. We are just part of the Udaipur community, trying to provide a place for kids to get their education without any drama. Hiran Magri is a nice part of Udaipur to work in. Since we are near the Shiv Mandir, we often hear the temple bells in the morning, which is a nice way to start the day. House No-80 is just a regular house, so the rooms are a bit smaller. This actually helps because the classes stay small and it's easier to keep an eye on everyone. We don't have a big library, but we have a shelf of books that people donated.
