Government College

This is the Government College located in Kotra. We are out here in the Udaipur district of Rajasthan. Being a government institution, we do things in a very standard way. The building is solid and has been here for years. We serve the students from 307025 and the nearby villages who need a place to study after they finish their higher secondary years. It is a quiet place most of the time, except when classes are changing. We have different departments for various subjects. The staff handles the paperwork and the teaching without much fuss. You won't find any glossy posters here. It is just stone walls, wooden benches, and a lot of books. Students come here because it is accessible and it is the main college for this part of Kotra. We follow the rules set by the department. The courtyard gets some sun in the winter which is nice for the students between their lectures. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just carry on with the lessons. It is a basic setup meant for learning. People around Udaipur know us as the local spot for getting a degree. We don't try to be anything we are not. It is just a place for young people to come and get their education sorted out before they move on to jobs or more study. The local bus stops nearby fairly often.
