Shri Balaji College Of Nursing

This nursing college is located in Gayatri Nagar, right in Sector-5 of Udaipur. If you know where the Gayatri Petrol Pump is on Jhamar Kotara Main Road, then you know exactly where we are. It’s a busy area and we are right in the middle of it. Nursing is hard work, and the students here know that from day one. Our building isn't anything spectacular, but it has the labs and the rooms where the training happens. People come here to learn the practical side of things. It gets quite busy during the shifts. We have teachers who have worked in hospitals themselves, so they know what it's really like on the floor. It’s not all just reading from textbooks. There’s a lot of practice and making sure the uniforms are clean and the equipment is handled right. The main road outside is always moving, but inside we try to keep a bit of focus. Sometimes the water cooler breaks or we run out of chalk, but we manage. We aren't a massive university with a huge budget, just a college in Udaipur helping people get into the healthcare field. It’s a practical place for practical people. Most of our students live nearby or come from the surrounding villages. We just get on with the business of teaching nursing every day. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just keep going with what we have and the students we have.
