Our shop is right out on Dabok Airport Road 25, so we see a lot of people passing through on their way to or from the airport. It’s a decent spot, though the traffic can be a lot sometimes. We mainly deal with mobile phones, mostly fixing cracked screens or replacing batteries that don’t hold a charge anymore. You’d be surprised how many people drop their phones while rushing to catch a flight. We keep a lot of spare parts around so we don't have to make people wait too long. It’s mostly just sitting behind the counter with small screwdrivers and tweezers, working under a bright lamp. The air conditioning works okay, but on the really hot days, it struggles a bit. We started this because we liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now it’s just our daily routine. We sell some covers and chargers too, the basic stuff people always lose or break. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local service place where we try to get things fixed right the first time. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, especially if the parts are hard to find for an older model. We just tell it like it is. If it’s fixable, we do it. If not, we say so. That’s how we’ve always run things here on the airport road. There is always a layer of dust from the road, but we try to keep the glass clean.
