Being right by the Badgaon Bus Stand on the Police Chowki Road means there is never a quiet moment during the day. People are always rushing to catch a bus or walking up from the police station side. Om Stationery & Electronics Mobile Repairing Service is a very long name for a small shop, but it describes what we do here. Half the shop is full of notebooks, pens, and school stuff for the kids. The other half is where the tools for fixing mobiles are kept on a small bench. It is a bit cramped in here most of the time. Students come in looking for a specific pen, and at the same time, someone else is complaining about their phone screen being cracked. We try to keep up with both sides of the business. The dust from the bus stand is a real problem for the electronics, so we are always cleaning the shelves. Police Chowki Road is a narrow one, and sometimes the traffic just stops for no reason. We watch it all from the front step while we drink our tea. It is a good place to be if you like seeing people and hearing the news. We have a lot of regular customers who stop for a chat while they wait for their bus to arrive. It is just a normal day-to-day business for us. We don't have any big plans, we just fix the phones and sell the paper.
