Mantram Teachers Training College

Mantram Teachers Training College is located at 10 - A Bathera House Colony in the Fatehpura area of Udaipur. It’s a nice enough part of town, not too far from the lakes but away from the main tourist spots. The building itself is part of a colony, so it feels a bit more like a home than a big institution. We have a few levels where the classrooms are set up. Since it’s Udaipur, it can get incredibly hot in the summer months, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through the colony. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the usual stuff like desks, chairs, and some boards for writing. The students come here to learn how to teach in schools, and they spend a lot of time practicing their lessons with each other. We have a small area where we keep all the registers and books. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but we eventually find what we’re looking for. The staff is quite small, so everyone knows everyone else’s name. We usually have our tea breaks together in the small courtyard. It’s not a high-pressure environment; it’s more about just getting the work done and helping the students finish their training so they can find jobs. It’s a simple life at the college and we like it that way. No big fuss, just daily teaching and learning.
