Maa Annapurna Mobile Gallery

Our shop is right on the Badgaon Main Road, so it gets quite a bit of noise from the traffic passing by all day. Maa Annapurna Mobile Gallery is basically a small room filled with glass counters and boxes of phone accessories. We spend a lot of time peeling off old screen protectors and trying to get the new ones on without any bubbles getting trapped underneath. It’s tricky work when the shop gets crowded and people are asking about different charging cables. The walls are covered in colorful posters for data plans and new phone models, though some of them are getting a bit faded from the sun hitting them. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait for their phone recharges to go through or for us to look at a loose charging port. The traffic outside never really stops, and sometimes the dust comes inside, so we have to keep cleaning the glass cases every hour or so. We sell a lot of earphones and those plastic phone covers that everyone seems to want. It’s mostly just us chatting with the regulars who live nearby or the people who work in the shops down the street. We stay open until late in the evening because that’s when most people have time to come by and fix their gadgets or get a new SIM card. It’s just a busy little spot on a very busy road.
