Ladji & Sons

Hiran Magri Sector 4 is where you can find us. Ladji & Sons has been a family thing for as long as I can remember. My sons are in the shop with me most days, helping out with the customers and moving boxes around. We sell a bit of everything that people in the neighborhood might need for their daily lives. It’s not one of those big modern supermarkets where everything is shiny. Our shelves are a bit mismatched, and sometimes the labels are a little crooked, but we know exactly what we have in stock. The morning starts with a lot of sweeping and getting the front ready. We see the same faces every day—people walking their kids to school or going to work. We talk about the local news and how the prices of things keep going up. It’s a comfortable kind of life, even if the hours are long. We stay open until late in the evening because that’s when most people realize they forgot to buy something. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when it’s quiet and just watch the cars go by. We don’t do any big advertising or anything. People just know we are here. It’s just a small family business trying to do right by the people who live around us in the sector. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the shop running as smoothly as we can manage.
