Kidzee Pre-Primary School

We are tucked away in Udaipur City at number 5, and every morning the place starts humming with the sounds of little children. It is a pre-primary school, so as you can imagine, it is never really quiet here. There are toys scattered in the play areas and colorful drawings taped to the walls that the kids made during their art time. The building is a bit older, like many in this part of Rajasthan, but it serves its purpose well. We have small chairs and tables that fit the toddlers, and we spend a lot of our time making sure everyone is safe and not getting into too much trouble. Udaipur is a beautiful city, but inside these walls, it is all about the basics of learning to share and recognize letters. Parents come by in the mornings to drop off their little ones, often having to stay a bit if someone is having a grumpy start to the day. Our staff is mostly busy wiping sticky hands or helping with coats and bags. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around for a bit before the sun gets too high in the sky. It is a practical place. We don't have any big corporate ideas about things; we just want the kids to have a decent place to be while their parents are at work. The day usually ends with a lot of noise as everyone heads home to their families.
