Khushi Mobiles

Khushi Mobiles has been part of Pratap Nagar for several years, and it is a small, busy spot. If you walk in, you will probably see me hunched over a workbench with a tiny screwdriver in my hand. We handle a lot of broken screens and phones that just won’t turn on anymore for some reason. It can be a bit frustrating when the parts don’t arrive on time, but that is just how the supply chain works around here. We have these glass counters filled with all sorts of things like colorful phone cases, earphones that get tangled easily, and chargers for every brand you can think of. The shop gets quite warm in the summer because the sun hits the front window directly. We have a small fan that hums all day, but it doesn't do much for the heat. People from the neighborhood stop by for all sorts of things. Sometimes it is just a student who needs a cheap pair of buds for their walk to school, or an older person who can’t figure out how to send a photo on WhatsApp. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a local shop where we try to get things fixed so people can get back to their lives. The floor usually has some bits of plastic or wire on it by the afternoon. It is just a normal, everyday business.
