We are located in the New Bapu Bazar area, right in the middle of all the action. Cassettes Palace started back when everyone was listening to tapes. Obviously, things have changed a lot since then, but we are still here. We’ve had to adapt to what people want these days. The shop is small and has that old-fashioned smell of plastic and paper. Bapu Bazar is always loud and busy, which is good for us. I’ve spent more years in this shop than I have anywhere else. My chair is worn out in just the right places. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. They remember when we only sold cassettes. Now we have all sorts of things related to music and media. It’s a bit of a jumble inside. I tried to organize the shelves last month, but it didn't stay that way for long. New stock comes in and we just find a gap for it. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just have to come down and look. We usually have some music playing softly in the background. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day. Even when it rains, the market is full of life. We like it here. People often ask me for recommendations, and I just tell them what I've been listening to lately. It’s simple enough.
