Chamunda Mobile & Electronics

Our shop is right on NH 8, specifically in Kheradiwada, just across from Hotel Bhagy Uday. Being on the highway means we get all kinds of people stopping in. Some are locals from around here, but many are just passing through and realized their phone charger broke or their screen cracked during their trip. Chamunda Mobile & Electronics is a small place, but we pack a lot into it. We have glass counters filled with different gadgets and accessories. It gets a bit noisy with the trucks and buses zooming past outside, but we don't mind it much anymore. We spend a lot of our time hunched over small screens with tiny screwdrivers, trying to fix things that people have dropped. It's delicate work and can be a bit frustrating when the parts don't want to fit right. We also sell some basic electronics like lights and small appliances. The shop can get a bit crowded when a few people come in at once, but we just handle them one by one. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going during the long shifts. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we like the variety of people we get to meet. Every day is a little different depending on who pulls over for help with their devices.
