We are based in Srivengateshapuram. It’s right near the bus stand in Sathan Sathankulam, which makes it easy for folks to find us when they get off the bus. The SP Building is where we keep our office, and having the Tamil Nadu Grams Bank so close by is actually pretty handy for our paperwork and money stuff. Tniamp Porunai Farmer Producer Company Limited started because the local farmers here in Thoothukudi needed a way to work together. It isn’t always easy with the weather we get, but we try our best to keep things moving. The office itself is just a regular room, nothing fancy, with a few desks and chairs where we sit and talk about the crops. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the buses going past all day, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us here grew up in this area, so we know the land and the people around 628613 quite well. It’s a lot of work coordinating everyone, and sometimes the fans in the building don't quite keep up with the heat, but we stay busy. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the people who drop by from the nearby villages. It’s not some big corporate thing, just a group of us trying to figure out how to get a better deal for our produce and help each other out with the day-to-day farming problems.
