We started this because farming by yourself in this region is getting harder and harder every year. By coming together, we can share the costs of things and hopefully get a better price when we sell what we’ve grown. Our office is a simple room where we meet up after the day's work is done. It’s usually filled with the smell of the outdoors and a lot of loud talking as we figure out our next steps. We grow different things depending on what the soil is doing. It isn't a perfect system, and we’ve had our share of mistakes along the way, but we learn as we go. We don't have any big corporate mission to talk about. We just want to keep our farms going and make sure the land stays productive for the next generation. The people in Annal Nagar are mostly like us, just working hard and hoping for good rain. We don't use fancy words or have big marketing plans. We just show up, do the work in the fields, and then meet at the office to handle the business side. It’s a plain, honest way of living. We’re just local farmers trying to make the most of what we have and looking out for one another in the community.
