You can find P L P Textiles at 101 Alaghesapuram Main Road. We have been working with fabrics here for a long time. The building is right on the main road, so it is easy to find, though parking can be a bit of a mess sometimes. Inside, there is usually a lot of material stacked up in different colors and types. We spend a lot of our time measuring out cloth and making sure the rolls are kept neat. It isn't a fancy boutique with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a practical place where people come to get the fabric they need for their own projects or for resale. Some days are quieter than others, but there is always some dust from the threads floating around in the air. We have a few machines that help with the work, and they make a bit of noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. The staff here knows a lot about different weaves and how the material will hold up. We don't do much advertising; most people just know we are here because we have been in the same spot for so long. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the fabric is in good condition. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to do our jobs without much fuss. We take orders from locals and some businesses nearby and keep our shelves as organized as we can.
