Alwin Industries

Our place is at 9/40,11 on Kamaraj Street in Kittampuli. It is an industrial area, so there are a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles moving around all the time. The road can be a bit rough during the rainy season. Alwin Industries has been here for a while. We have a solid roof and big doors to let the air in while we work. It gets very hot inside during the middle of the day. We have some heavy machinery that makes a lot of noise. You can hear it from the street. We don't have a reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find one of us on the floor. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the machines are running right. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet. Kamaraj Street is mostly filled with workshops like ours. We all know each other. Sometimes we borrow a tool from the guy next door if ours breaks. It’s a practical way of living. We don’t do any marketing. Our work speaks for itself when people see it. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By evening, we are tired and ready to go home. It’s just a normal factory life here in Kittampuli. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to do the work right and keep the machines running every day.
