Sr Bricks

Sr Bricks is out at 6-3-367 in Madhugiri. It’s a dusty place, like any brickyard would be. We’ve got piles of bricks everywhere and the kiln is usually going. It gets really hot in the summer, which makes the work even tougher. We don't have a big fancy entrance. You just drive in and look for one of us. Usually, someone is near the stacks or checking the water levels. We’ve been making bricks for a while now, just providing them to builders around Madhugiri. It’s heavy work, lifting and moving things all day. My hands are always rough from the grit. We don't really do marketing. People just find us through word of mouth or by driving past the yard. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that on the wall. We just want to make bricks that don’t fall apart when you build with them. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out perfect, and we have to sort through it by hand. It’s a lot of manual labor and sweat. We have a small shed where we take breaks and have some water when it gets too much. It’s simple. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to supply the materials people need for their houses. The trucks come and go, and we keep loading them up as fast as we can. That’s our whole day, every day. It’s a tiring job, but it’s what we know. If you need some bricks, we’re around.
