Maruti Bricks

We are set up over in Shedahalli, specifically at 1-6-629. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Anuman Temple. You can usually hear the work going on before you see the gate. It is a quiet enough area except for when we are running the press. I started this because there wasn't much else going on and bricks are always needed for something. The yard isn't huge but we make it work by stacking everything tight. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit of a mess, so we spend a lot of time moving pallets around to keep things dry. The temple is a good landmark for people who haven't been out this way before. I usually spend my mornings checking the mix and making sure the guys showed up on time. We have a few dogs that hang around the shed and keep us company while we work. It’s a lot of lifting and moving, and my back definitely feels it by the end of the week. We try to keep things simple here. No big office or anything, just a small desk in the corner of the shed where I keep the logbook. Most of the neighbors know us by now. It is just a regular day-to-day operation here in the neighborhood. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on and that is fine by me for now.
