S.M. Decors

S.M. Decors is located at 2/552, Mela St in Allithurai. This is out in the Somarasampettai area of Trichy. We are very close to the Vaiyalur Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Most people find us just by asking for directions to the temple and then looking for our spot. Being near a temple means we see a lot of people passing by, especially during the festivals and auspicious days. Our setup is quite simple. We use the space to store our decorative items, fabrics, and frames. It is often a bit cluttered because we are always moving things in and out for different jobs. The atmosphere in Somarasampettai is much calmer than the main city of Trichy, which we prefer. We have a few local guys who help with the heavy lifting and the installations. Most of our work comes from families in the nearby villages who need things done for their homes or local halls. We don't have a big marketing strategy or anything like that; people just know where we are and what we do. Sometimes we sit outside the shop when it is quiet and just watch the traffic going towards the temple. It is a slow and steady kind of life here. We make sure we have everything ready before we head out to a site, checking the ropes and the clothes one last time.
