Our place is on the first floor of the Annai Complex in K K Nagar. It’s right near the Indian Bank Colony, so it’s a familiar spot for people in Trichy. We are close to Megala Travelers, which makes it easy to explain the location. We do entertainment stuff, mostly organizing local shows or small gatherings. The office has a few chairs and some posters on the wall. It’s not a very big space but it’s enough for us. Trichy gets very warm, so the fan is always running. We talk to artists and local performers quite a bit. Sometimes we have to go out to check venues around the city. It’s a lot of back-and-forth travel on the bike. We keep a notebook for all our schedules and who is doing what. It’s just a few of us working here. We’ve been in K K Nagar for some time and we know the neighbors well. People come in to ask about sound systems or stage setups. We just tell them what we have available. It’s pretty straightforward. No one wears a suit here, we just wear regular clothes and get to work. The tea at the corner shop is good, so we go there twice a day. We just keep things moving and try to stay on top of the bookings. It’s a lot of phone calls but we manage. Most days we just try to get everything ready before the sun goes down.
