Vishnu Brick Works

Vishnu Brick Works is located at 82/9, Tv Padi in Ponneri. Ponneri is a place that can get very warm, and our brick yard reflects that. We have a large open area where we keep all the bricks stacked in rows. It is a lot of earth and red dust around here. The work is mostly about moving things from one place to another. We spend our days loading the bricks onto trucks or organizing the new batches that have just come out of the kiln. It is not a complicated business, but it is definitely hard work. You won't find any fancy offices or air-conditioned rooms here. We have a small space where we sit down to do the accounts and talk to the drivers. Most of the time, we are outside. The noise of the trucks and the clinking of bricks being moved is the soundtrack of our day. We have been at this location for a while, and people in the Ponneri area know us. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just have the bricks ready and people come to get them when they are building something nearby. It is a practical way to earn a living. Some days are better than others, depending on how many orders come in, but we always have plenty of work to do with the bricks and the people who come to the yard.
