If you head over to Thiruvottiyur, you’ll find us at 73, Apparswamy Koil Street. Ambal Brick Works is a pretty straightforward operation. We spend most of our time dealing with the basics of building, which means bricks and more bricks. The street can get a bit crowded with the lorries coming in and out, but that is just part of the daily routine. It’s not a clean or quiet job, to be honest. There is a lot of dust and the weather in this part of the city doesn't always help, especially when the sun is really beating down on the yard. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know the local shops and the people around here quite well. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. Most of our work comes from people just knowing where we are and what we do. When you walk into the office, you might see some mud on the floor or stacks of old registers. We just focus on keeping the supply going for the construction sites that need it. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, everyone is usually tired and ready to head home. We don't try to sound like some big company because we are just local folks making bricks on a busy street in Thiruvottiyur.
