Kailas Polypak

Our factory is located at Door No. 28, on Plot No. D-5 within the Mogappari Industrial Estate West. It’s a part of the city where you mostly see warehouses and manufacturing units. Kailas Polypak is tucked away in one of these lanes, and we’ve been here quite some time now. We work with plastics and packaging materials, which means the machines are almost always running and making a steady humming sound. It’s a practical workspace designed for moving rolls of film and bags around. We don't have any polished floors or air-conditioned waiting rooms because that’s not what we need for this kind of work. Instead, we have stacks of raw materials and finished packets waiting for the delivery vans. The workers here have been with us for years and they know the machines better than anyone. Mogappair can get quite busy in the mornings when all the units are opening up, and we are usually there early to get a head start. We just focus on the task at hand, making sure the thicknesses are right and the seals are strong. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is necessary for all the businesses that use our products. We prefer to just keep our heads down and get the production done instead of talking about ourselves. It’s a busy, noisy, and productive little corner of the estate.
