Creative Packaging Solutions

Our place is at No.3/5 on Bhagavathi Amman St. We go by the name Creative Packaging Solutions. Most of our day is spent surrounded by piles of cardboard, paper, and various types of glue. We make boxes and other packaging materials for different local businesses. It is a bit of a messy job. There are always offcuts of paper on the floor and the smell of adhesive can be quite strong in the afternoons. We have a few machines for cutting and folding, but a lot of the work is still done by hand. It gives us a chance to check everything as we go. The street we are on is quite narrow, so when a delivery truck arrives, it usually blocks the whole way for a few minutes. The neighbors are used to it by now. We are a small team and we all do a bit of everything. One day I might be answering the phone and the next I am helping load a truck. We don't have any formal meetings or corporate policies. We just talk over tea in the morning about what needs to be finished. It is a very relaxed environment, even when we are busy. We have been here for several years and we know most of the people on the street. It is just a regular local business trying to do honest work every day.
