Switcher Prem Gardens Matriculation School Hr Sec is located in Thutharipalayam, Kallipalayam, right on the Dharapuram Road in Palladam, Tirupur. It’s a matriculation and higher secondary school, so we deal with everyone from the little ones to the teenagers getting ready for college. The area around here is quite busy with all the textile work going on in Tirupur. You can feel that energy even inside the school gates. We have a bit of garden space, hence the name, but it takes a lot of work to keep the plants alive in this heat. The building is spread out and has several blocks for different ages. It’s a bit of a walk from one end to the other. We don’t have everything brand new, but we keep the place running. The teachers are usually seen carrying piles of notebooks across the yard. We have our fair share of broken benches and leaky taps, but we fix them when we can. It’s a practical place for kids to get their education. We don't put on any airs about it. We just open the gates in the morning, do the lessons, and make sure everyone gets home safely in the evening. It’s a big part of the local community here, and we've been doing this for many years now. It’s hard work, but we are used to it and just keep at it.
