Sriamman Engineering Works

We are located out on Palladam Road in Gudimangalam. The workshop is at 2/178A. It’s a straightforward engineering shop. We have machines running most of the day, so it’s never really quiet here. Madathukulam is a bit of a drive for some, but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us. We fix things and make parts. There’s grease on the floors and tools all over the benches. It isn't a place for suits. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. My dad started this place, and now we just keep it going. We don’t spend money on advertising. Word of mouth usually brings folks in from the surrounding farms and factories. Sometimes we have to wait a while for parts to arrive, which can be frustrating. The shed gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months. We just open the big doors to let the breeze in. It’s honest work. We don’t make any big promises, we just try to get the machines back in working order. If something is broken, we look at it and tell you if we can fix it. That's about it really. We close up when the light fades and head back home. It's a simple life, focused on getting things fixed properly for the people around here.
