Seforge

Seforge is out at Plot No.1 in the Aspen Engineering Sez in Kittampalayam. Being in the special economic zone means the roads are a bit better, but once you step inside our gates, it’s a typical forging shop. We have some heavy equipment here that makes a lot of noise. When the hammers are going, you can't hear much else. We do forging for all sorts of industries. It’s a lot of heat and heavy lifting. We don’t have a big HR department or a PR team. We are just a group of people who show up every morning and work until the job is done. The office is small and usually quiet compared to the shop floor. We try to keep things organized, but in this business, things get messy fast. We don't have a fancy mission statement hanging on the wall. We just focus on getting the forgings out the door. Sometimes we have to work through the night if a machine breaks down or if an order is behind. We aren't a polished corporate entity; we are just a workshop that happens to be in an SEZ. Most of us have been doing this for a long time and we don't know any other way. It’s sweaty, loud work, but it’s what we do at Seforge and we've been doing it a long time.
