We handle both matriculation and higher secondary levels, so we have a wide range of ages here from small kids to older teenagers. Some of our students have been with us since they were five years old. The school building has grown over time as we needed more space for the older classes. It is not a perfect place—the paint might be peeling in a few spots and the desks are old—but it is a place where real learning happens. We do not go in for all the fancy talk you see in brochures these days. We just show up, open the gates, and get to work teaching the kids what they need to know. The staff rooms are usually full of notebooks and tea cups. In the afternoons, you can hear the students playing sports or getting ready to head home. The bus ride out here to Divansapudur is quite nice, especially in the mornings when the air is fresh. We take pride in being a local school that people in Pollachi can rely on for their children.
