Ananya Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School

We are situated on Valparai Main Road in Angalakurichi, which is a part of Pollachi. Being on the way to Valparai, we see a lot of traffic passing by, but the school itself is set back a bit. It’s a Matric Higher Secondary school. The area around here is quite green, which is nice for the students. We have several buildings for different age groups. The morning assembly happens in the open space between the blocks. It's often breezy because of all the trees in Pollachi. We have classrooms that are basic but functional. The teachers here have been working with us for years. We don't try to sound like a big corporate office. We are just a local school. The kids spend their time in lessons, and then they have their lunch breaks under the trees. We have the science labs and the computer room as required by the board. Most of the families in Angalakurichi send their children here because it's close to home. We don't do much advertising. People just know us by word of mouth. The office staff is usually busy with paperwork or talking to parents who drop by. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We just focus on the kids getting their education and following the curriculum. It’s not fancy, but it works for the community here and provides what the students need to pass their exams.
