Von Exports Private Limited operates out of Ambai Defence Colony here in Kolhapur. We are located at Plot No.04, which is a bit of a quieter residential area compared to the main market. It's nice because we can actually focus on the export work without too much noise outside. My family has been in this area for a long time. The business started because we saw a chance to send local goods to other places. It’s not always easy dealing with all the export rules and the shipping schedules, but we’ve gotten the hang of it over the years. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking emails from buyers and looking at customs updates. The office is basically just a few rooms with desks and shelves full of files. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just us working hard to make sure the products get packed correctly and sent off. Kolhapur is a good place for this kind of work. Sometimes the weather gets really rainy, which can slow down the trucks, but we plan for that. We prefer to keep things simple and just do our jobs well. There is no need for big speeches or marketing. We just want to make sure the items we export are what people asked for. It’s a steady business and we like the community around us. We just keep going.
