Doss Exporters

Our place, Doss Exporters, is tucked away on 10th Street in Shanthinagar. It’s number 22/98 if you’re looking for it. Palaymkottai is a nice enough area to run a business from, even if the streets get a bit crowded during the middle of the day. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. It’s mostly just us handling the export side of things for local goods. The building is an older one, but it does the job just fine for storage and packing. We don’t really go in for anything flashy or modern. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking crates in the back. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the highlight of the afternoon when things get stressful. We try to keep things moving so nothing piles up too much in the back room. 10th Street can be a bit narrow, so when the delivery vans come by, it’s a bit of a squeeze. But everyone in Shanthinagar is used to it by now. We know the other shop owners on the block and we all get along. It’s just a regular small business. Nothing more, nothing less. We started small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage the details ourselves. If you walk down past the main junction, you’ll find us easily. It’s a quiet life mostly, just getting the crates out on time every single week.
