Toolfab Engineering Industries (P) Ltd.

You can find Toolfab Engineering over at E3-10 in the D.P. Estate in Thuvakudi. It’s a pretty standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve got our sign up, but it’s a bit faded from the sun. Inside, the space is filled with whatever we are working on that week. There’s usually a lot of scrap metal in the bins and the smell of coolant in the air. We don’t have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a few managers and the workers who actually do the heavy lifting. We’ve been in Thuvakudi for a long time, so we know the rhythm of the estate. The trucks and the noise are just part of the background. Sometimes the orders come in fast and we have to put in extra hours, and other times it’s a bit slower and we spend time fixing the machines. We don’t make a lot of promises or use big words to describe what we do. It’s engineering work, plain and simple. People come to us because they know we are here at E3-10 and we’ve been here for years. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to make sure the parts we produce are what they are supposed to be. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living in this part of town without any fuss or trouble.
