Sugum Apparels Fab

We are located right on Khajamalai Darga Street in Trichy, at number 1. It’s a busy little area, especially being so close to the Darga. Sugum Apparels Fab is where we spend our days dealing with all kinds of fabrics. The street outside always has people walking to the shrine, and you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We have a lot of fabric rolls stacked up against the walls, and the smell of new cloth is pretty strong when you walk in. It’s a simple setup—just some tables, some machines, and enough space to move around if we’re careful. We handle the stitching and the fabric work ourselves. Trichy can get incredibly hot, so we usually have the big ceiling fans on full blast all the time. We aren’t a huge factory or anything like that; we just have a small group of people who know how to handle the material. We spend a lot of time just measuring and cutting, making sure we don't waste any of the fabric. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to sit and wait or do what we can by hand. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our spot and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building. We just do our work and try to stay on top of the orders that come through.
