Beema Cttinadu

If you are coming into Thuraiyur, you will probably pass right by us. We are in the Amman Lodge Building on the Trichy Main Road. It is a very busy area because the Aringnar Anna Bus Stand is right nearby. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Beema Cttinadu is just a plain, honest place to get a meal. We don't have any of those modern decorations that look like they belong in a mall. The tables are sturdy and the floor is easy to clean, which is what you need when you have so many people coming in from the bus stand. The kitchen is always going, and you can smell the Chettinad spices from the sidewalk. We get a lot of travelers who are just stopping for a quick bite before their next bus, but we also have locals who come in every single day. It can get pretty loud during the lunch hour. We just focus on serving the food and making sure everyone gets what they asked for. Sometimes we have to move tables around to fit a big family. It’s a bit messy and fast-paced, but that is the way a roadside place should be. We are just a small part of the life here on the main road in Trichy. We keep things simple and just try to get the job done right every day.
