Asha Bags

Our shop is at number 16 in the Asha Complex. It's right in the Subramania Puram Market area, on 4th Street. If you go to the market, you will find us easily among all the other stalls and shops. We focus on bags of all kinds. The market is always loud and full of energy, which we enjoy. We've been part of the Subramania Puram community for a long time now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We don't have a big website or fancy ads. People just know to come to the Market Street when they need a sturdy bag for school or work. We spend our time sorting through stock and helping customers find the right size. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of variety on the shelves. You have to step over a few boxes now and then. That’s just life in a busy market. We see the same people every week doing their shopping. We like the personal connection we have with the folks around here. It's honest work and we take it one day at a time. The 4th Street location is convenient for most people who are already out doing their errands. We keep the doors open and wait for whoever comes by. It’s just a regular market shop doing what we can to help the people who stop in.
