Sri Rajageetham Hotel

You can find us in the Chithra Complex, right in the middle of the Tiruchirappalli Townhall area. It is one of the busiest parts of Trichy, especially being so close to the Chatiram Bus Stand. There is always a lot of shouting and horns honking from the buses just outside. People come into the hotel looking for a place to sit down after a long journey or while they are waiting for their next connection. The complex itself is quite old and has that specific smell of a busy commercial building. We see all kinds of people, from students going to the nearby colleges to families traveling across the state. The floors are stone and we keep the fans running at full speed because the Trichy heat can be really tough. It’s not the kind of place where you linger for hours, it’s more about getting your food and moving on with your day. We have the menu written out, but most people just ask what is fresh. The kitchen stays busy from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low or the lights flicker when the grid is heavy, but we just get on with things. It is a practical place for a practical town. Being near the Townhall means there is never a dull moment, even if it gets a bit overwhelming when the bus stand is really packed with commuters.
