Sri Bairava Meenakshi Rice & Vadagam Shop

We've been at 51 Jaihindpuram for a while now. It's on the 2nd Main Road, right where everyone passes by. Most days it’s just us handling the bags of rice and making sure the vadagams are ready. People around here know the shop. We don’t have fancy displays or anything. It's just a regular place where you get what you need for the kitchen. Sometimes the sun gets really hot on this road, but we keep the doors open. We've seen kids grow up and start coming here themselves to buy the same things their parents did. The name is long, Sri Bairava Meenakshi Rice & Vadagam Shop, but most just call us the rice shop. We try to keep things simple. If a bag is heavy, we help carry it out. That's just how it goes here. There’s always someone stopping by to ask about the different types of rice we have in stock today. We don't do big advertisements. Just the sign outside and the word of mouth from neighbors. The vadagams are made the way they should be, nothing strange added. We just focus on the daily work, opening up in the morning and closing when the street gets quiet. It’s a busy life on the 2nd Main Road but we like it that way. If you’re walking past, you’ll see us there near the corner. It's not a big company, just our family effort.
