Rms-Food Products

Being located in Srirangam is quite nice. Our place is at 103, Sriandal Avenue, over in the Kilavasal area. It is a quiet neighborhood compared to the busy roads near the main temple. We work with food products, so the air inside our space often smells like whatever we are processing that morning. It is mostly a family-run thing. We have a small kitchen area and a separate space for packing everything up. Everything we do is done by hand or with very simple machines. We do not have a big factory or anything like that. It feels more like a workshop than a real office. My mother still comes in sometimes to check on the quality of the ingredients. We try to use local stuff whenever we can find it. The neighbors often stop by the door just to say hello or ask how we are doing. It feels more like a home than a business most of the time. We keep things as clean as possible and follow the usual rules for handling food. It is a lot of manual work, weighing things out and sealing the plastic bags by hand. We do not have a big website or a person to manage social media. We just sell to the local shops and some people who live further away. The power goes out once in a while, so we always keep our torches handy.
