You can find Annais Food over in K K Nagar, at 14/1 on the 7th Cross. We are situated in the Sundar Nagar area, which is a nice part of Trichy to be in. Our daily routine starts early in the morning, way before most people are even awake. There’s a lot of chopping, stirring, and packing that happens in our kitchen. We aren't a big restaurant with waiters and menus; it’s more of a focused food operation. The smell of spices and cooking usually fills the whole street by 8 AM. We use the 7th Cross as our base and it works well for us. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s quieter than the main roads. We have our regulars who know when the food is ready and they come by to pick up what they need. We don't spend money on fancy ads. Word usually spreads because someone told their neighbor about what we’re cooking. The kitchen gets really hot in the middle of the day, especially during the summer months in Trichy. We just keep the exhaust fans running and stay focused on the pots. It’s a lot of manual work, standing on your feet for hours, but we like the process. Every day is a bit different depending on what we’re making. We just aim to provide something decent for people to eat without any complications or fluff.
