S T S Oil Mill

We run the oil mill here in Mudachikadu. It is located at number 7. People in Thuraiyur know where we are because of the noise. We have been doing this for a long time now. The machines get really loud during the day when we are pressing the seeds for oil. Usually, someone is always around the yard if you stop by for a chat. It isn't a fancy place at all, just a regular mill. We keep the floor as clean as we can, but it is dusty work by nature. Most days we are busy with small orders from nearby towns. It is a family thing, mostly. My uncle started it years ago and now we just keep it going. We handle different kinds of oils depending on what the harvest looks like in the fields. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait around. That is just how it is here. You can see the smoke from the stacks on cold mornings. It is just basic work, nothing too complicated or special. We do not have a big office or a lobby, just a wooden desk in the corner. If you need something, you just come to the gate and shout. Someone will come out to help you eventually. We try to get things done on time, but sometimes the equipment acts up. It is an old building, but it does the job for us every day.
