Rathna Rice Mill

I am writing this to tell you a bit about Rathna Rice Mill. We are located at 361, Big Allapuram, and it is a pretty busy place around here most days. My family has been working with rice for a long time now. We spend almost all of our daylight hours at the mill. You can usually hear the machines running from all the way down the street. It gets quite loud when we are processing a big load of grain. The address is 361, Big Allapuram, and that is where we do every bit of the work. We get the paddy in from the carts, clean it up, and get it ready for the local people. It is hard work and your hands get very dirty by the end of the shift. The dust gets everywhere, especially in the late afternoons when the wind picks up. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit around and wait for it to come back. That is just how things are here. Most folks in the neighborhood already know exactly where we are. We do not have a big sign or anything like that. Just the mill itself and the heavy bags of rice sitting out front. I usually start work very early before the sun gets too hot to bear. If you walk past Big Allapuram, you will probably see me or one of the guys moving sacks. We try to keep things organized but it is a mill, so things naturally get a bit messy.
